Butterscotch and Caramel, an experiment

Whoa! Three weeks went by so fast. I have recently been taking a hiatus from baking so I could try to shape up a bit. However, I had a recipe I came up with and wanted to try for months so I finally gave in and made it. Butterscotch cake with caramel frosting. I had to hurriedly snap the picture before Ben cut into it, so this is not the best shot. Tasted pretty good, so I think I will put it in my repertoire.
